About Nigel and On-Safari...

On Safari is owned and operated by Nigel Whitehead. Nigel was born in Zimbabwe and is now living in Cape Town, South Africa. Nigel is a wildlife enthusiast and uses his passion for photography to bring amazing images from his travels to his gallery.

Nigel has worked in various wildlife conservancies in both South Africa and Botswana. His travels have taken him through most of Southern Africa including wildlife areas in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana.

Nigel portrays his love of fauna and flora through his photographs on display at his gallery, On Safari Wildlife Photography Studio in Cape Town. 

Picturesque Framing Studio offers a very personalized framing service to customers and operates from trendy Kloof street in Cape Town. All work is conducted by Nigel and his assistant on the premises, ensuring a fast turn around for clients.

All types of framing are offered from sports memorabilia, works of art, certificates for corporate clients, school art, canvas stretching, hanging services, mirrors and repairs to existing works.
